National Road Safety Week 2023
Friday, 12 May 2023
National Road Safety Week is being held across Australia from 14 - 21 May 2023.
Every year, approximately 1200 people lose their lives and another 44,000 are seriously injured on Australian roads.* Unfortunately, these numbers are growing every year but are preventable if we choose to Drive So Others Survive!
Take the pledge
Take the pledge this National Road Safety Week and make your commitment to “Drive So Others Survive”.
Test your road safety knowledge
When passing a stationary emergency vehicle with flashing lights, what speed must you do? Test your road safety knowledge with our Road Safety Quiz.
Light Up Australia
Keep an eye out this year for South Australian bridges, buildings and icons including Adelaide Oval, the Riverbank Footbridge and Adelaide Entertainment Centre lighting up yellow to raise awareness of National Road Safety Week.
